Who am I

I am Tales Menezes, a passionate cloud technology professional with a background in hospitality management. I have spent several successful years in hospitality, where I sharpened my leadership, event management, customer service skills, and grew a tough skin for challenges. As much as I enjoyed the journey of managing people and businesses, I’ve always been fascinated by systems and technology ever since I was a child.

My journey into tech began at the start of 2024, when I decided to channel my passion for technology into a full-fledged career. Since then, I've earned certifications in AWS Cloud and Solutions Architecture, mastered Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and built a portfolio of cloud solutions designed to meet real-world business needs.

I now leverage my problem-solving abilities and technical expertise to build scalable, efficient solutions. My experience managing large-scale events and leading teams in high-pressure environments translates seamlessly into my work in cloud technology. I bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, work as part of a team, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. These skills, paired with my technical expertise in AWS and Terraform, enable me to design solutions that are not only technically sound but also user friendly and easy to replicate.

What drives me is the challenge of creating innovative, scalable systems that help businesses run more efficiently - I find it very rewarding to see a good cloud infrastructure that works. My goal is to continue growing as a cloud solutions architect, where I can bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities. I seek challenging projects that push the boundaries of my knowledge and make me hungry for more.
